AAXA Technologies announces the release of the S2 Projector

AAXA Technologies is pleased to announce the release of the S2 Pico Projector. By popular demand the S2 Pico projector features a massive 6-hour 15000mAh battery*, improved onboard speakers, and Direct Smartphone Mirroring through its USBC (compatible) port. The AAXA S2 Mini HD Projector is a high performance solid-state mini projector that delivers true native 720P (1280x720) performance and is able to deliver up to 6 hours of projection playback anytime, anywhere. Powered by a Texas Instruments DLP imager and mated to premium Osram 30,000 hour LEDs, the S2 produces a bright 400 Lumens and is capable of delivering a 120” projected image anytime, anywhere.

Onboard the S2 is a massive 15,000mAh lithium-ion battery that delivers an ultra-bright 400 Lumens at 120 minutes or an amazing 360 minutes (6 hours) of continuous play in Eco Mode. This battery performance makes the S2 the world’s biggest battery projector and is second to none.

USBC (Compatible) Smartphone Mirroring

The AAXA S2 enables Direct Smartphone Mirroring (DSM) for most USBC compatible devices including most Samsung, LG, Google smartphones as well as the latest generation iPads and MacBooks. The direct connect USBC (compatible) cable needed for DSM is included with the AAXA S2. Simply plug in a compatible smartphone and immediately share presentations, movies, pictures, and other media directly.



Native 720P Resolution & 30,000 Hour LEDs

The AAXA S2 incorporates a high efficiency optical engine that delivers native 1280x720 (HD) pixel resolution without upscaling or marketing gimmicks through the implementation of Texas Instrument DLPs 3rd generation imager technology. This system is powered by a full solid-state Osram LED light-source. The advantages of solid-state technology include durability, long-life (30,000 hours), and bright, vivid colors. Unlike competitors who use off-brand LEDs sourced from commercial lighting applications, AAXA Technologies’ partnership with Osram, a global leader in LEDs, allows AAXA to deliver cinema class LEDs in its projection products.

Connectivity & Media Playback

The AAXA S2 portable projector features an onboard media player capable of directly playing videos, pictures, and music through a USB stick or TF card. With powerful twin 1.5 watt speakers and battery, the S2 is a true all-in-one entertainment projector. Additional connectivity features include USBC (compatible) port, HDMI compatibility, AV port, and 3.5mm headphone port. *6 Hour battery is based on standard video playback in eco projection mode. Boost projection mode, high-volume playback, and USBC (compatible) mirroring consumes more power especially since USBC (compatible) mirroring allows for output device charging.
