RECENT UPDATES
Please apply this firmware update if you find that the keypad on your projector is freezing or the projector is not fully turning off
Notes before updating:
- A USB memory stick (FAT32 format) or a MicroSD Card no more than 32GB is needed to update the firmware on your P2-A.
- Please ensure your unit is plugged into power when updating the firmware.
- You can ONLY utilize this firmware if the homescreen of your P2-A looks like the image below. Trying to load this firmware on a different version of the P2-A could cause the projector to become inoperable.
1. Download the projector firmware file through MediaFire by clicking on the image below. Please note it is a .zip file and will not need to be uncompressed
2. Copy the downloaded .zip file to the root folder (highest folder of hierarchy) of the USB memory stick or MicroSD Card
NOTE: DO NOT copy any other files or folders to the USB memory stick or MicroSD Card
DO NOT change the firmware's file name
3.Turn on the projector and wait for it to boot into the Main Menu
4.Insert the USB memory stick or MicroSD Card into the P2-A's USB port or microSD Card port
5.The P2-A may automatically bring up the File Manager. If so, press the back button to Exit out of there to go back into the Main Menu.
6.Once the projector recognizes the update, a pop-up will appear to confirm the Update
7.Select Update and the firmware update will begin automatically
8.The firmware update will take approximately 3 to 6 minutes. Once completed, your P2-A will restart on its own and boot back into the Main Menu.
9.Your P2-A is now updated with the latest firmware!
